A no-dig gardener avoids breaking up, lifting or turning the soil. This allows plants, fungi and soil organisms to break down organic matter, increase access to nutrients and improves soil structure and water retention. This helps to create a healthier ecosystem for life to flourish.
This event is part of Root for Our Future, a two-year project exploring food sustainability within Torfaen. Everyone is welcome to attend one of our events. They’re completely free!
